In the past two weeks LES Ambassador Club has been very busy working on lots of projects that benefit our school and community. Red Ribbon Week was full of fun as the Ambassadors tied spirit week into the same week. Ambassadors asked Pawnee County Sheriff Deputy Bryce and his partner Noa, the drug dog, to visit students at LES. It was fun to learn about Noa! Ambassadors also stayed busy with Red Ribbon week by making drug-free posters and hanging the posters in the halls. Since November is here and Thanksgiving is right around the corner, the Ambassadors were busy putting up a "thankful wall." Students and staff are asked to write what they are thankful for and put their thankful note on the wall. It has been fun to read the thankful notes! Last but not least, LES had a turkey hunt and it has been a huge success! The entire school was looking for their assigned hall turkey. All turkeys were found and prizes will be awarded to the winning classes. It was very entertaining hearing and seeing everyone hunt for their turkey. Along with all of the above projects the ambassadors have been working on, the ambassadors continue to work at their jobs. They are busy with walking buddies, morning announcements, library aides, and we can't forget to mention the recycling workers. A huge thank you goes out to everyone at LES who recycles. I think we can all agree it is fun to see what a difference we are making when it comes to recycling. Keep up the good work LES! Our Thankful Wall Time lapse. We just started! i know we will make our goal of filling up the board with thanks by thanksgiving!
