Please enjoy our photos of the last few months! Board of Education Appreciation month! The elementary ambassadors provided a gift to the board members for board appreciation month in January! It was great having students at the board meeting to recognize our board of education for their service. The ambassadors had a fun time making the Tic-Tac-Toe bags! Ambassador Friendship Heart Exchange For Valentines Day! The Ambassadors sold Friendship Cards the week before Valentine's Day. They sat t a desk in each camp before school to sell cards. Friendship cards were 25 cents each or 10/$2.00. Students and staff are welcomed to purchased the cards. Student and staff purchased cards for each other and for their own family! The ambassadors made different die-cut cards for people to chose from. Ambassadors were responsible for in school delivery of the card on Valentines Day. It was a fun week of selling and making students and staff happy! It was a great fundraising idea. Money will be used for future Ambassador projects! Thank you for supporting the Ambassadors! (sorry, no pictures :( spring is here! After spring break the ambassadors got right back to work! They cut out hundreds of paper butterflies for LES students to decorate in preparing for spring. LES ambassadors also decorated the glass board with the quote, "Until you spread your wings, you'll have no idea how far you can fly!" Mrs. Dryden and Mrs. Warrick assisted in our spring time celebration with reading, "Glasswings a Butterfly's Story," by Elisa Kleven. Once the librarians read the story, each student was invited to decorate their butterfly. Once decorated, each student placed their butterfly on the glass board of their choosing. It was fun to see butterflies fill the board! Volunteer Appreciation week april 8-12LES Ambassadors hosted a popcorn and lemonade party on April 12 for our school volunteers to show appreciation during volunteer appreciation week! Our volunteers are busy reading, helping with centers, and showing pictures to our LES students all year long. It was fun to celebrate them and all that they do! The ambassadors and volunteers had a nice time getting to know each other in talking about each other's volunteer happenings! The appreciation celebration was a complete success!
